Specter tells AFL-CIO he supports union organizing bill, predicts passage this year (Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune)

PITTSBURGH - Sen. Arlen Specter tells the AFL-CIO that he will support legislation to make it easier to form unions. Specter also predicts Congress will pass a compromise version of the bill this year that will be "totally satisfactory to labor."
