Disney to Buy Marvel Entertainment for About $4 Billion (Bloomberg)
Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Walt Disney Co. has agreed to acquire Marvel Entertainment Inc. in a stock and cash transaction. Based on the closing price of Disney stock on Aug. 28, the transaction value is $50 per Marvel share or approximately $4 billion.
