Federer to play for Switzerland in Davis Cup (Fox Sports)

Roger Federer has been chosen to play for Switzerland's Davis Cup team in the country's attempt to get back into the World Group. The International Tennis Federation announced Tuesday that Federer will lead the Swiss team against Italy in Genoa on outdoor clay in the playoffs from Sept. 18-20. Federer is the defending champion of the U.S. Open, French Open and Wimbledon.
