Jose Maciel: My neighborhood will never forget 9/11 (The Bakersfield Californian)

Two years ago I decided to honor those who died on Sept. 11 by placing small flags on all the front yards in my neighborhood. It was a small gesture but a worthwhile one. There were some logistical problems, but they were not insurmountable.
