HDMI to HDMI/Optical splitter cable?

That said, it's not a cable (since a cable couldn't do what you want) and at $250 there may be a cheaper way to do it (e.g. an A/V receiver). Or just feed the audio back over optical from the HDTV ...

Sibyl Siwik: All HDMI cable are the same. You can not have an HDMI and optical cable in one cable at one end. You connect the HDMI cable to your tv and then connect an optical cable from the tv audio output to your receiver to get the sound. Hope this will help you out.
