When buying a crib that converts into a toddler bed do you have to buy toddler rails for the bed or can you us?

If you can find ones short enough to work on a toddler mattress it would work.Toddler beds are generally lower to the ground then a crib at the lowest setting, and I think the transition is easier when the child feels they are getting a new bed instead of just their crib broke and one of the sides is missing....Show more

Patrick Bitsui: I have a crib that converts to toddler and my crib came with rails for the toddler bed option.. I'm not sure if all do but if it is actually one that says it converts it most likely does.
