Fav Movie?

Manie Labat: There are several movies that I love and can watch over and over, but the one movie which left a very lasting i,mpression that I saw over 20 years ago and still think about and have studied about is ( PHAR LAP ) I am in the thouroghbred business this movie really tells about creed, how people become capative by a animals that brings them joy and heartache, and the true bond between man and animals, very sad unforgettable

Sol Allphin: There is a scene like that in "The Last Empire" about a british boy who is placed in a Japanese prison camp. He befriends a Japanese kid on the other side of the fence by returning his model plane. The movie is much older then 5 years though, I believe it was made in the late 80's or early 90's.

Shena Etulain! : Okay so i saw this stunning chinese film a couple years ago. I just remembered it recently, and i need to rewatch it.Okay, so it was about a young boy who is dropped off with his very old grandma in the countryside by his mother. Basically its just about his life there and how he copes with all the changes. I remember there being a scene where he his grandma cuts his hair wrong and he gets really upset because he was about to meet this girl he really liked and give her this teddy bear but then he gets hurt on the way and has to go home. - That scene tore me up, it was so much like real life and not so overly sad and showy like these american films. But it was really great and its one of my all time favorite movies, besides totoro and Amelie.sorry for rambling...Show more
