elocution competion to speak on my hobby?

Rebbecca Sorkin: just a few pointers that will hopefully get you started --- how did you choose your hobby / how did painting become your hobby-- why do/did you need a hobby-- is it a way of expressing yourself ? how?-- any other social benefits -- can become a nice conversational topic-- sense of achievement, psychological satisfaction, some positive competitiveness-- a form of relaxation, de-stressing, rejuvenation of spirits & freshening up of mind/thought - invigorating-- usefulness in any other area-- bringing out latent talents-- usefulness as handmade gifts - so much appreciated ...you can add a few anecdotes to illustrate & explain & personalize.eg. how you were a shy person, a 'loner' & after painting helped you express what you couldn't say in words. and when your classmates, etc. saw you sketching, they started approaching you out of curiousity & soon you had quite a few friends....**** you could also include a couple of quotations on hobbies or painting, their! therapeutic value, etc. and how Not having a hobby could affect you.maybe add some humor too. it's always good to have a few smiles or laughter....hope this helpsall the very best :-))...Show more
