Lyndon Mattas: There's not a whole lot you can do. Just talk to him and sign up for an infant massage class. He'll love it!
Bryant Chaudhry: Talk sing, lots of hugs and kisses, thats about all a three week old needs for entertainment
Vickie Sterbenz: Three week old babies don't need a lot of "entertaining." Holding him a lot will not spoil him. Enjoy it. He needs to feel comforted and loved and the best way to do that is to hold him. The time flies, so take advantage of it now. You may want to read to him, talk to him, sing songs. Basically, I used to narrate my day to him. "We're going into the kitchen now. The kitchen is where we cook food." or "We're going to take a bath now ..." and chat with him throughout the day. They also love laying on the floor with you and you lay close to him, look at him and talk to him. We also made up voices for our son and talked as if he were responding to us. It kept US entertained. Have fun!...Show more
Octavio Roylanc! e: Activities For 3 Week Old Baby
Buddy Ardd: read to him, talk to him, walk around the house with him and tell him what things are...those are some of the things i did with my baby girl when she was that age. now i cant get her to sit on my lap!
Delmy Varano: If he seems happy being held, hold him. The swing and chair are good too, but babies that young just need their mommies. They can't get spoiled at young, and it helps them learn they are safe and secure. Does your baby like tummy time? You can get one of those play mats that has toys and mirrors and your baby could play on his tummy or back. It will probably be awhile before he really gets interested in anything other than you! :-) Congrats!
Hilde Heskett: Holding a newborn doesn't spoil them. It just makes them feel safe.At 3 weeks your baby's favorite activity is looking at you. Just hold your baby and gaze into each others eyes. When your baby gets older they will be too busy being independent! and you won't have the cuddle time anymore....Show more
Deangelo Marchak: he needs to hear your voice so he knows mommy's voice.sing the abc song or any other child's song. when my nephew was learning how to speak he would hum the abc song. by the time he could speak he could sing his abc's and a few other songs, too.read to him. it doesn't have to be a children's book. read him something from the magazine you are reading.they are learning everything at this age....Show more
Roland Stampley: A 3 week old baby will not be "spoiled" by being held. They need to know that their needs will be met and that they are secure and loved.
